Exercise Prescription InformationRecommendations for exercise programs using the four major exercise modes: walking, running, cycling, and stepping. The recommended intensity and duration of exercise are calculated according to the fitness level of the individual. The desired exercise intensity is shown by the % effort. The UFT system calculates the MATHR - the Maximum Allowable Training Heart Rate based on fitness level, age, sex, and weight. Aerobic fitness and the UFT fitness values improve during a training program. Daily UFT determinations will show the adjusted exercise program needed as a result of improved fitness. The above exercise prescription capabilities can be obtained for children and adults ages 6 to 85 years. |
